REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor in Accounting & Finance or Business Administration or related field
• Insurance qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years work experience in Insurance technical area or accounting field or related field with at least 1 year experience at a supervisory level
• Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Analytic thinking leadership and problem-solving skills
• A team player, able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadline
• Pleasant personality

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all reinsurance accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in premium calculations, claims settlements, and timely reporting to reinsurers
• Manage and maintain detailed treaty statements including monthly and quarterly reports, ensuring compliance with reinsurance treaties and agreements
• Identify and manage facultative reinsurance placements and negotiate terms with reinsurers
• Manage and maintain up-to-date reinsurance (RI) and facultative (FAC) registers, ensuring all data is accurate and readily accessible for audits and reviews
• Manage and follow up on debit notes from reinsurers and ensure timely communication regarding premium payments and claim settlements
